Mine is a little more eccentric. I am obviously more American English than Yankee, but not much. And how on earth can you say 'caramel' in two syllables?! The Dixie thing also troubles me...

Hmm... Place names are different I think. Otherwise we'd spend forever telling people how you get to Leicestershire (pronounced Less-ter-sheer btw).
